How to Win the War Against Reality

Imagining a world beyond our senses

Center yourself to find your truth

What’s really real?

Do you think this world is simply what your senses tell you? Or are you like me? And you envision “reality” to include things we can’t perceive and entities that exist on dimensions outside of our depths.

These beings are beyond what we can grasp with our sight, touch, hearing, taste, or smell. Infinite potentialities exist, yet somehow most people are able to come to terms “with reality.”

I call B.S

“Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” – Albert Einstein

Here’s what I think. At the core, there are two “realities” that we exist in.

The first reality is the world we live in and can see around us. The second one lives within us and is made of interdimensional layers that are unique to each individual. The first has quite a few limitations encoded into it, while the latter option offers far more possibilities – as well as a more holistic understanding of the world around you.

Both of these realities exist, but I believe the majority of people tend to keep their attention on the world around them, as opposed to the one within. The war has already begun, and the first step to defending yourself is gaining awareness.

Let’s take a deeper look at both realities.

“Only a blind man can easily define what light is.” – Rajneesh

In order to win the war against reality, balance is important.

We need to understand our experiences in both external and internal realities are equally important for us to gain control over the illusion we are forced to live in.

Our external reality is created by the senses we use to perceive the world around us, and the language we use to code the objects and people we interact with.

It’s a shared reality that we are constantly constructing by coming to agreements on terms assigned to events happening around us. In this reality, I have pinpointed two pillars used to maintain the eternal illusion we are all enslaved by – language and light.

Let me explain.

Let's look at the life of the blind man.

The world around him is not perceived through various light signals. Instead, he may rely on his other senses, as well as the people sharing the external reality with him to communicate to him what he cannot “see”.

Few would trade in their sight for a world without it, I know I wouldn’t, but I can’t help but think in some ways, the blind man has some advantages due to his inability to see the outside world. The man without sight is subjected to far fewer illusions than the rest of his peers. Unseen forces that share this reality with us are closer to his understanding than his contemporaries with good eyesight.

But even the blind man has a choice.

Even though he cannot see the world outside, in a contemporary sense, through language his perception can be framed by those who describe the reality they see to him. And he must decide how much their perceptions play a part in how he experiences the world he lives in.

Misery loves company.

This isn’t to say the people helping the blind man are necessarily miserable, but people, in general, feel safer when they feel like they “know” something. And so, they may think it helpful to share with the blind man what they are seeing and convince him it is real. That their view is reality.

However, the reality is that blind man may see things in the world that someone with their sight intact may never be able to acknowledge.

‘As for me?

It’s hard for me to accept everything I see as “real” when I know there are frequencies that exist beyond the capability of what our eyes can see. I understand it is usually more comforting for most to stay in the safe confinements of “the light.” What they see is what they choose to accept, and that’s not wrong.

But what happens when they choose close their eyes and venture over into the other realm?

Can you imagine what they may see there…

Let’s fight fire with fire

Imagine a world where we can see the light that people are emitting from within themselves.

Or a world where things are more than the physical description we use to identify them. Imagine if everything around you was alive and open to connecting with you at a more intimate level than you have ever known.

If you can imagine that, then you may just stand a chance in this war.

The power of imagination can be used to shake up our perception of reality. We can use our imagination to remind ourselves of the life we deserve, even if it doesn’t seem attainable in the present. Strengthening our imagination will open us up to more opportunities in our lives, and give us a tighter grip on how we choose to experience the world around us.

Many people still live under the delusion that they are slaves to their subjective thoughts.

They believe in the limitations these thoughts have imprinted in their minds, and they cling to what they “know” with all their might. They have to cling to these realities because the alternative is unpleasant, foreign and sometimes scary.

They do not want to face themselves in a reality where they have allowed other forces to tell them what they are capable of, and what they can expect out of their own lives. They won’t acknowledge they have underestimated the power of their imagination – in spite of all evidence to the contrary.

Yet those same people will allow others to change their reality merely by using their imagination with great care and deliberation…

Reality is a shared human experience that is constantly changing and evolving. There are those who are aware of these truths, and they are the ones who amass enough influence to impose their imaginations on the realities of others.

Most things in this world were designed by a human, one way or another, so you are doing yourself a disservice by believing you can’t make a similar impact in your own life.

We can use imagination to win the war against reality by controlling the narrative around it. We can redefine this world, and remove the limitations we have allowed ourselves to accept as law here.

Or. We don’t fight this reality, and instead, imagine a new one.

A new shared reality with different limits and dimensions. One where we uplift each other and everyone is on the pursuit of happiness. Living life to the fullest and seeing everything around them for what it really is.

These worlds sound lovely, and whatever path we choose, I’m confident we can succeed.

We just need to imagine it first.
